Committees – Chairs

Awards: responsible for the Career Development Grant program, and scholarships and bursaries to promising students based in British Columbia.

Chair: Alex Volkoff

Education: assists with rehearsal receptions for the Vancouver Opera In Schools program.

Co-Chairs: Lore Hoffmann and Pat Hancock

Guild Centre: staffs the Guild table in the Queen Elizabeth theatre during opera productions to promote Guild activities and encourage membership.  

Co-Chairs: Patricia and David Plackett

Membership: oversees membership activities such as recruitment, recognition and maintenance of databases.

Chair: Linda Siegel

Newsletter: publishes a newsletter three times a year, obtains, edits and collates materials and arranges distribution.

Chair: David Steiner

Marketing: helps publicize the Guild and its events and tour etc.

Special Events: plans and oversees events and other initiatives to raise funds for the Guild.
